Company History and Profile

Evirtualworld was an Internet Hosting Company formed out of a need: a need to adequately service small businesses and technology consultants. In late 1998 John Petersen along with several venture capitalists wanted to create a different kind of Internet company that provided great web service at an affordable price. Extensive research was complied to understand the appropriate services that were need to establish a successful Internet business.

John started discussing the idea of a unique web hosting company to several start up companies and consultants. As a former software consultant, he understood the importance of developing a successful business model for small businesses on the Internet.

What he also discovered was that many small businesses not only want an established web site but also want to reward customers who visit their sites. A strong reseller and web marketing program was developed. By having many businesses on one web site, individual businesses can share in Evirtualworld's Internet traffic. In turn this can result in additional advertising revenue for each Evirtualworlds business.

In Spring of 1999, Evirtualworld was launched to the public. So far we have had several businesses sign up for our services and have had many larger companies interested in our extensive business model. The goal is for Evirtualworld to continually expand its services and become even more responsive to the needs of its clients.
